Description
Continuing our long and proud Cordless tradition, the Mission is our top of the line Crash Pad. We've redesigned it from the 2011 model to offer more features and simplicity and most importantly, NEW FOAM. We are now using a big chunk of upholstery-grade PU foam on the bottom and a firm Crosslink/EVA blend for the upper layer. That means a safer, longer lasting landing area, better than anything else available today. Our redesigned backpack system allows you to adjust the shoulder strap height for different size torsos, along with the fully padded hip belt.
- 48" x 41" x 3.5" (122cm x 104cm x 9cm)
- One piece Taco fold (the safest and most secure)
- 2.5" of medium density foam below, 1" of firm foam above
- Top, bottom and side closure flaps
- 1000d and 1680d Ballistic Nylon fabric shell
- The best foam out there, period.
- MADE IN USA
Customer Reviews
Durable, Light, and Comfortable
I want to preface this review with the simple fact that I am a Revolution Athlete and thus prone to bias. But I'll do my best to give an honest reason for why this pad is a good buy. Durability: In the last 3 years I have owned 3 of these pads. I climb outside with them on average 3-4 days per week and during some parts of the year, I use them everyday. I know how to put a crash pad through hell and Revolution pads are the only pads I've ever used that have been able to hold up to the abuse. The foam is simply bomber. Weight: Your best pad is the one that you are willing to take anywhere. Nobody wants to carry a heavy, over designed pad on a 2 mile uphill approach. But then again, you also don't want to carry some super light flimsy piece of shit everywhere you go. This pad is the perfect balance; light and simple, but it's filled with durable quality foam. Comfort: Some of the best boulders in the world are far from the road. As much as I hate to hike, this is a simple truth that I have come to accept. This pad offers by far the most comfortable (padded) shoulder and waist straps of any crash pads on the market.
