MORE NEW STUFF ON THE WAY...
2007-07-02
If you check out the dates on the News section, you’ll see that we don’t update it as frequently as we should. But there’s a good reason for that: We’re busy making new stuff.
First of all, we’re designing and testing some prototypes of the NEW CRASH PADS. We will be presenting two new pads and two re-designs in a couple months. We have some very stubborn opinions about Crash Pads, since we’ve made about 30,000 of them over the last dozen years.
We’re not physced on certain other companies’ practice of making low-quality Crash Pads with shitty foam and flimsy fabrics. We would rather go in the exact opposite direction: higher quality, better designed and longer lasting Pads.
All we can say about the new Revolution Pads is that they will be more functional than our current pads, with more efficient designs using higher quality materials than anybody else. In other words, they’ll be sick. So sit tight, it’s on the way.

New Plastic Mix
2007-05-02
We’ve written some info in the last couple months about the new products we’re working on. You can read all of that info below if you’re interested. But the big news is this:
THE NEW REVOLUTION PLASTIC MIX
Yep, a whole different mix for all of our climbing holds is in full effect. We’ve been working on this for the last 7 or 8 months, using our knowledge of climbing holds and working with chemists who know their biz.
That means testing lots of different materials, different blends, different methods of manufacturing and then slapping them on a wall and climbing on them and subjecting them to the worst abuse we can think of.
This new Revolution mix is made of a cleaner, tougher, 100% recyclable Polyurethane blend. This mix also minimizes the slick or “greasy” feel of other Polyurethane blends.
It also made of at least 10% recycled and natural materials. We believe that this is the environmentally cleanest climbing hold mix available. It’s definitely the strongest mix that we’ve ever developed.
Best of all, we’ve been able to do this and still maintain our great prices.
We still have a healthy inventory of our holds made of the old mix, so the introduction of the new stuff will be gradual, replacing the stuff that’s currently in stock. Within a month or so, you can expect that the full Revolution line will be made of the new stuff.
If you have any questions, feel free to give us a call or e-mail.
And keep checking out the NEWS section, we’ve got some more stuff on the way.
